An area of decidous and mixed confer woodland , part of the larger Kesteven forest.The woodland is a good place to find all three woodpeckers and long-eared owl along with other common woodland birds such as nuthatch and treecreeper. In summer it is possible to find turtle dove, spotted flycatcher, and breeding nightjar pictured, in the felled areas.
Car park, trails and picnic areas.
