Peter PartingtonPeter Partington
Peter Partington was born in 1941. From his early teens he lived by Poole Harbour and it proved to have a deep influence. It was easy to escape from school and sit watching the shore-line; holidays and weekends were often spent bird watching and exploring its inlets and unspoilt reaches, where sea and marsh intermingle with woodland and meadow .

Bruce Pearson

Bruce Pearson

"Obsessed by the natural world, I work as often as the opportunities arise out in the wild where wildlife and landscape, and sometimes people, interact creating powerful images and dramatic themes. It is the rhythm and restlessness of the natural world which fascinates, and which I try to capture.

Richard JohnsonRichard Johnson
Watching kestrels when I was a boy led to a fascination in birds of prey and when I produced a small book of raptors at the age of nine I began an intense relationship with wild birds, watching them and drawing them at every opportunity. I joined Watch (the youth section of the Wildlife Trust), and entered an art competition which lead to two years' work with a local wildlife artist, James Alder, and an exhibition at the Hancock Museum in Newcastle. This experience had a lasting impact on my work.
